Pengertian Conditional Sentences Conditional Sentences ( kalimat pengandaian ) adalah kalimat yang mengandaikan suatu keinginan, harapan, rencana, dan Iain-lain yang masih bisa terjadi , sesuatu yang tak terpenuhi/angan-angan , dan tak ter- wujud .
Arti kata type 1 Conditional sentence type pertama ini dapat digunakan untuk membuat sebuah kalimat bersyarat yang masih memungkinkan sekali untuk dicapai syaratnya karena baru akan terjadi pada masa yang akan datang. Contoh : 
1. I will go to bali if I have time 
2. If she knows the answer, she will tell her 
3. If he work hard, he will have a lot of money 
4. She will go to japan if she have scholarship 
5. If you eat too many sweets, you put on weight 
6. If I have enought money, I will buy a car 
7. I will to merried if I have much money 
8. If my brother come home late again, my mother will be angry 
9. I will take my family to bandung if I have time

2 Conditional sentence type ke dua ini dapat digunakan untuk menunjukan kalimat bersyarat yang kemungkinan terpenuhinya akan sulit. Contoh : 
1. I would accept the money if I were you 
2. If she knew the answer, she would tell her 
3. If it rained tomorrow, I would sleep all day 
4. I would buy a handphone, if I had much money 
5. If I didn’t study hard, I would fail 
6. If she woke up earlier, she would not be lat for coming to the campus 
7. I would go to minimarket if it didn’t rain 
8. What would you do if it were to rain later ? 
9. She would go to England, if she studied harder for scholarship 
10. I would pass the examination if I studied harder Conditional sentence type 
3 Conditional sentence type ketiga ini digunakan untuk mununjukkan kalimat bersyarat yang tidak mungkin dipenuhi karena masanya sudah lampau. Contoh : 
1. If I had known that you were in hospital, I would have visited you.
 2. If She had been able to finish her job well, she would have been promoted as a director. 
3. If John had driven his car carefully, we would not have got an accident. 
4. My father would have been here, if the flight had not been canceled. 
5. Linda would not have arrived at home, if the my father had not picked her up. 
6. If I had known that Angie was your girl friend, I would not have touch her. 
7. If you had told me that you went to Bali last week, I would have picked you up at the airport. 
8. I would not have bought a new TV if I had known that the old one was still ok. 
9. If Real Madrid had had a good striker, they would not have lost the game. 
10. He would have not been dare to fight with you if he had know that you were a boxer.
